This grater is amazing. It grates perfectly. I make a home made mac-n-cheese where I hand grate 3 different types of cheeses, and I used this and it made the recipe effortless. Cut down my grating time from the typical box grater I was using and it created perfect, fluffy cheese shreds that melted effortlessly in the recipe. I have also used it to zest lemons and grate carrots and have been pleased with the results. It is sharp and makes any grating job quick. It fits nicely over a mixing bowl, so you can grate right into your recipe and it cleans up great and stores well with the safety top on it. I wish I would have bought this years ago. The size is perfect to lay over my XL mixing bowl that I use when making Blueberry Bread w/Orange zest for my hubby. Actually that is the first thing I made after receiving it. Zesting is easy, the size of the zest is perfect, I had 2 tablespoons full in a few minutes.Comfortable to hold, already got Parmesano/Reggiani on the shopping list, and really the list of uses is endless. I prefer to hand wash mine, it was easy to clean. Very substantial for the price, all in all an excellent purchase!

bought primarily for citrus zesting. the longer length allows it to rest across a bowl, or if resting on a surface, the rubber feet keep it zester steady.

Bought this zester for my mom and it works fantastically. Definitely gets the job done without much effort and is not difficult to clean.

My daughter like to cook & bake. She asked for a lemon zester. She was glad to see that it came with a cleaning brush & was nice and long to put over a bowl.
